REIN’s DroneInsurance.com Lands in West Virginia

You asked, here’s our answer! DroneInsurance.com is now available in West Virginia.

Just in time for drone pilots’ busier season, our customizable coverage options have landed in WV to help protect your operations.

DroneInsurance.com is available throughout the United States except in NY, KY, IL and MN. Insurance services are provided by Acend Insurance Solutions, LLC (“AIS”), a licensed surplus lines producer in all 50 U.S. States.  AIS operates in California under license No. 0L70741. Additional licensing information is available at DroneInsurance.com.

How do coverages work?

Layer 1: Base Coverage
This protects you from ground-based risks, i.e., for when you’re not flying. You’re covered 24/7 throughout the year. And you are billed monthly to help you avoid high upfront costs.

Layer 2: On-Demand Flight Liability Coverage
You’ll purchase your flight coverage on-demand, to protect your business when you actually fly. You can choose from $1 million to $25 million in flight liability coverage depending on your business needs. And you can purchase coverage for as little as a day, up to a year.

Optional Sensors & Ground Equipment Coverage
It’s true — some sensors, like LiDAR and Hyperspectral, are more expensive than your drone. To help protect your entire inventory, you can add optional sensors and ground equipment coverage for your gear.

How are you supported?

Drone operations are dynamic and every business has unique needs and risks. To make sure your specific coverage needs are met, here are a couple of things to note about your DroneInsurance.com coverage:

  • Flight liability can be added on-demand. We don’t require you to purchase annual policies.
  • Our Base Coverage includes protection against Personal & Advertising Injury.
  • Our coverage supports FAA-approved BVLOS (beyond visual line of sight) and night flights.
  • Your Certificate of Insurance can be generated online, within a few minutes.
  • Additional Insureds can be added anytime, all online.
  • Our coverage doesn’t have radius restrictions. You are protected in the US and nearly everywhere around the world.

Know Before You Fly

Whether you’re in servicing, aerial photography, agriculture, or oil and gas, it’s essential to be organized and strategic when it comes to running and growing your drone business.
