DroneInsurance.com Turns One

Today marks our first birthday! Thank you for sharing this journey with us. We grew and accomplished a lot together in the past year. Let’s take a look at some of the milestones we hit as a community to continue to bring you the coverage your business needs, when and where you need it.

We launched, you welcomed us.

DroneInsurance.com is now available throughout the United States except in NY, KY, IL and MN. More states opening soon!

We worked with industry leaders to empower you with streamlined operations.

In an effort to make drone insurance a seamless part of your commercial drone workflow, we worked with industry leaders to provide distinct coverage options for their hardware products and integrate DroneInsurance.com into their platforms.

We helped you mobilize drones for good.

Emergency response is one of the most impactful use cases of drone technology. Following Hurricane Florence, we provided coverage to drone pilots assisting with disaster relief and humanitarian missions in our home state of North Carolina.

You reached out, we listened.

In the last year, we’ve had over 2,000 live chats with our community. We listened to your feedback and worked harder to make our insurance solutions match your unique business needs.

We’re learning more about drone risk.

Our data science and machine learning team has been hard at work developing and refining comprehensive risk models, including developing algorithms to recognize all of the variables that go into a drone crash — all in an effort to deliver insights to help you manage risk in your drone operations.

We got to meet an awesome community of drone pilots.

DroneInsurance.com is designed to empower commercial drone pilots to manage and add coverage whenever they want, wherever they are. It’s been a great year of working together and building our drone community. A lot may have changed, but one thing will always remain the same: how grateful we are for your trust and support. Here’s to many more years of safe flying!
